A driver lands into double trouble after crashing his Hyundai Accent into a ₦24.8million 2020 Chevy Corvette C8 supercar while drunk.

Sometimes when one lands in too much trouble, the typical Nigerian elders will say that person is in “hot soup”. This is exactly the case of one US driver who was not only driving while drunk but also went ahead to crash his Hyundai Accent car into a 2020 Chevy Corvette C8 supercar that is just 1 day and few hours old.

Double trouble for drunk driver who crashed Hyundai Accent sedan into a 2020 Chevy Corvette C8 supercar

No one will take delivery of any new car without getting all emotional not to talk of a supercar like the 2020 Chevy Corvette C8 that has a starting price of ₦24.8million. How would it feel to have a drunk driver crash into such an expensive supercar just less than 2days after getting it?

It was reported that one the 2nd of April 2020, one “June Bug” in the city of Florida in the US. took delivery of a brand-new 2020 Chevy Corvette C8 supercar. Unfortunately, just a day after, which is on the 3rd of April 2020, the supercar owner got involved in a crash where the beautiful car was hit by a Hyundai Accent sedan driven by a drunk driver.

How bad can a situation like this get?

Well, to make matters worse, it was also reported that the drunk driver who crashed into the expensive 2020 Chevy Corvette C8 does not have any insurance. And also, due to the current COVID-19 (Coronavirus) crisis, carmakers have suspended production activities, meaning this supercar won’t be replaced anytime soon for the unfortunate owner.

Drunk driving is a global issue that has led to many big corporations to sensitize people about the dangers of the despicable act. See this video below from a time when the Nigerian Breweries Plc flagged off a campaign against drunk driving sometime last year:

Traffic laws in most countries all over the world highlight “drunk driving” as a serious offense that can cause loss of innocent lives. Naijauto highly advocates that no one should drive under the influence of alcohol or any hard drugs for the sake of humanity.

Drunk driving is illegal and can get anyone into big trouble!
