Abeokuta Police force recently Arrested a masquerade who broke and disobeyed the law of the state government, for the restrictions of movement and gathering of more than 25 people.
Before the DPO was to beat the Masquerade he was told about the towns culture but he neglected and removed the clothes of the Masquerade and beat him mercilessly according to report. Unfortunately now the DPO has been reported dead:

Sometime ago i and this DPO had an issue SP Dada Olusegun, very wicked, tough and strict. imagine, this is now the end of him.
According to reports, Ibaara Police station arrested the masquerade following the alleged threatening by the masquerade to deal with police who destroy the the gathering of him and his followers during the celebration of the egungun festival.
The Masquerade was later arrrested and was giving a big warning before he was released. But after he was released shortly that is when the DPO was confirmed dead.
